Linton's
early career is shrouded in mystery and before 1985 his exact
whereabouts are unknown. He claims to have played on
the University of Manitoba Bison and MODO of
the Swedish Elite League, but these claims cannot be substantiated.
What is known
is that he started work as Glen Armstrong's personal
bodyguard in 1985. After failing to make the Red Army for
three straight years,
Linton took Glen's advice and enrolled in Artie's Hockey School.
Linton graduated in the top half of his class and made it
onto the Red Army the next season. Despite a couple of shaky
years, Linton
has
managed
to
establish
a
permanent position on the team.
Linton focuses
on offense and is the epitome of a one-way player. This is quite
different from his private life, where there are ominous rumors
of going both
ways. Linton dismisses these rumors as the results of an unfortunate
interview with Bi Magazine and as one of the side effects of
his latest career interest. Lately, Linton has
capitalized on his
Red
Army
fame to work as
a male model in the off-season.
