  1. Is the Red Army for real? I have been following hockey for years and have never heard of them.
A: Absolutely, they are for real. If you haven't heard of the Red Army then you have been living under a rock! Seriously, it is an unfortunate reality in North America that if a team is not part of the National Hockey League system, it is very difficult to get national media attention, especially in cities where NHL teams are located.  Back to top

  2. Does the Red Army accept advertising or endorsements?
A: Yes. Send email to info@redarm.com for more information. The Red Army welcomes opportunities for sponsorship, in the form of ads on the web site or sponsor ship crests on the team sweaters. In the past, the Red Army did not accept advertising and endorsements, opting instead for the "clean" look of a jersey with no additional crests and banners. The only exceptions were Artie's Hockey School and Red Army Brewery, which are joint ventures of the Hockey Club. However, with the high costs of maintaining a team of this caliber, the policy has been changed.
Please note that the Red Army does not advertise or endorse adult content web sites.   Back to top

  3. Is it true Bobby Hull played with the Red Army for a while?
A: By far, our most frequently asked question. We hear this all the time and it is now approaching urban legend status. No, Bobby Hull has never played for the Red Army.  Back to top

  4. Are there any ex-NHLers playing for the Red Army?
A: Not this year. There are no ex-NHLers on the current roster.  Back to top

  5. Is there a relationship between the Red Army Hockey Club and the Central Red Army of the old Soviet Union?
A: No. Although there are countless rumors of the Red Army Hockey Club supplying players to the Central Red Army or the other way around, no Central Red Army player has ever played for the Red Army Hockey Club and no Red Army Hockey Club player has ever played for the Central Red Army. There is no organizational relationship.  Back to top

  6. Does the Red Army ever lose? From the way the web-site reads you would think that they have never lost a game.
A: Yes the Red Army occasionally loses. Over the years the team record is overwhelmingly positive, but there have been several losses.  Back to top

  7. Some of the players sound kind of old. How can the hockey quality be any good with players of that vintage?
A: Most of the Red Army players maintain the same training and conditioning programs that they have always followed. The quality of play remains close to what it has always been. In fact, some of the players do not seem to have slowed down at all. As for age, we have exaggerated a few of the birth dates as a form of gentle teasing of some of the older players.  Back to top

  8. Is there an official Red Army fan club?
A: No. While the Red Army appreciates the loyalty and support of its fans, it does not endorse any one fan club.  Back to top

  9. How can I contact my favorite Red Army star?
A: Send email to info@redarm.com and it will be forwarded. Most Red Army players respond within one week.  Back to top

  10. How can I tryout for the Red Army?
A: Red Army camps are open by invitation only. Please contact info@redarm.com for more information.  Back to top

  11. Awesome web-site! Who designed it?
A: Ant-Web Productions, contact through webmaster@redarm.com   Back to top
