Here we see group shots from early practices, and the last two photos are taken immediately after a playoff game.  Since each player was an accomplished leader, this led to all finished team sweaters bearing the coveted captain’s ‘C’, except for Glen Armstrong who was not considered "ready" to bear the responsibility. Hey, not everyone can be captain - that would be ridiculous. In the last two team photos (taken at Bison Gardens at the University of Manitoba), we can now see 8 future Red Army players. And a lot of cheap equipment and bad haircuts.
